<center>__Time Passes-By So Quickly__</center>

I am near my 18th year in being a dialysis patient and I would have to say that it has been rough because I haven't gotten much good medical service because of many factors including different medical standards, quality, and it includes blaming my doctors for being so incompetent with their practice which resulted in me being disabled and suffering as a result. I really don't blame them because they are only applying on what they only have learned and unfortunately so we patients just have to bear that kind of situation.

I do not know if I would boast and be proud of my longevity or not but I feel like other patients are inspired by me which gives them hope that at least being a dialysis patient is not a death sentence. But being a long-term patient is not a good way to go because of the complications like for the heart most especially.

<center>__Sadly, Different Countries Have Different Health Standards__</center>

Regarding my the bone health it must be carefully managed otherwise patients will end up like me. It would include the Parathyroidectomy which would prevent the bones from leaching out Calcium from them so the patient would still grow in terms of with their skeletal system and not go in reverse which again happened to me.

Had I've been educated well about what I would have to face after being a dialysis patient and what I would have to do then at least it had made some substantial changes in my condition and situation right now. So now that there already had been bad changes I just have to control the situation with all what I could do just to save what was left from me.

<center>__It Would Have Been Okay If Not About The Bone Complications__</center>

I am still not losing hope about my condition because miracles or peculiar or crazy events might happen in the near future. After all I am not sure of what is my future is really because I do not know if there are great unknown forces are working at the background so I will just trust God of what he would do in my life.

I do not know if I still wanted to live or not but it is nice to have a record or a world record of being in dialysis for a very long time considering most patients just doesn't survive for more than four years or so as some just dies within a year. So it is just baffling why I am still alive yet and surviving for more than 17 years is a great feat indeed and serves as a reminder that maybe being a dialysis patient is not a death sentence but is obviously hard to manage both physically and financially.

<center>__There Is Still Life After Being A Dialysis Patient__</center>

I am still thankful that we are not like in the old times where we are restless where I would get the money to pay our hospital bills because all came out of pocket because I have no health insurance to use in those years, none of us have but fortunately after two years in being a patient my church (mcgi.org) opened a clandestine dialysis operation for the brethren's use so it was a way for God to prolong my life survival.

Of course it was not smooth sailing from that point as I have to pay still for my treatments only just greatly reduced until the ministry had taken it off completely but other problems arose like us going out again because the head nurse would be leaving because she will be expecting a child and the worse was the dialysis machine broke and we have to pay for the spare part so that I will get treated again.

<center>__It Should Be Standard That If We Would Make A family We Just Have To Have Them Health Insured__</center>

My brother had to pay for that part and that is not a very cheap part until some time it broke down again because of the same reason, rat damage. At that time it was the church who is paying for my bills in the hospital until I was able to realize that I could get a health insurance which by then I had used for my treatments until now.

So I have so many things to thank for about my experience for being a dialysis patient. Dialysis patients now are better off because of the government insurance which was before was non-existent that is why there are patients that I knew that couldn't pay for dialysis treatment so they would suffer a lingering death.
