My Appetite Enhancer Is Just Counter Productive

I've been more productive during the years that I was an insomniac person. It is because I have more time in doing many things like even doing a digital painting even. But if you are just too drowsy all the time it just translates that you will get lazy and often would chose to doze-off all the time.

I do not wish to sleep too much because in my case I would feel this awful feeling with my mouth. A nauseating taste that a normal person would not be able to relate to because I am a dialysis patient and is full of toxins all the time and it make me feel it with my taste buds especially after sleeping.

Now with my appetite enhancer "Pizotifen" it is just more like a sleeping pill rather than an appetite-boosting medicine. I will still give it a go for a few more days and if I could not enhance my appetite I will switch to the Lysine-based appetite enhancer even though it also makes me drowsy too.

I do think that I am also getting sick of taking Cinacalcet, I had taken one tablet again. I have learned that its so-called "half-life" effect is about 40 hours. Meaning that  the effects lingers at around that time frame and maybe even more for a dialysis patient like me.

It seemed to be washed off after dialysis but lately I could not feel that it has been being washed-off because I couldn't eat still after dialysis. It could be because of a slower blood pump which is why I couldn't feel the clean feeling that much anymore or that I am getting a lower blood count or both.

It explains my worse appetiteloss now because I am struggling for my eating behavior which is now limited to a single meal per day. I hope that I could be able to raise my hemoglobin level again because I thought that it will never go back down again but it did. I will be taking iron supplement in-between my far in-between meals now just to make sure that I could absorb more iron because it is better done that way so that iron would not get blocked in my guts especially if my meals consists of coffee.

 I could drink decaffeinated coffee soon, because sometimes I need the taste of it rather than the stimulating effects so that I would not get the caffeine that supposedly blocks the absorption of iron in my guts.
