I am nearing my goal of achieving a faster blood pump during my dialysis because today nothing uneventful happened even though I requested my nurse to set the machine to pump my blood at the speed of 275 mL/minute but she said that there is no setting about increments of 5 but ten so she just set it at 280 mL/minute which is even better.

So the good thing was that I didn't suffer from a low blood pressure again and it just remained stable at 120 Systolic until the end of treatment time. But at pre-dialysis my blood pressure is just high enough to make me feel uncomfortable the night before because the sphygmomanometer reads 150 Systolic. It is bad because my blood pressure should not reach that high or else I will strain my heart in the process which would cause it to enlarge.

Now in due time I will request for a faster blood pump like 300 mL/min or faster because a faster blood pump will make your blood get to be cleaned better because more blood will pass through the filter we call the "Dialyzer". I am really keen on achieving that goal because of course as much as possible I just want most of the toxins in my blood to go out and be washed away for every session that I undergo because I only get to go twice a week for my sessions because I am avoiding too much wasted time and effort not only for me but also for my parents who are with me each and every session not to mention the additional expenses that I will burden myself.

So as much as possible I wanted a more efficient blood-cleaning job for my body so I can feel much better in-between my dialysis days. I now really thank God because my worries are now dissipated right after I was getting successful dialysis sessions with my blood pressure disrupting my treatments because I was able to identify the cause of it through trial and error because I thought that soon I will never ever tolerate my dialysis sessions anymore but a simple adjustment on my medications did the trick which made me so happy now.
