I agree, I think we still need doctors too. they obviously have there place when diet alone is not enough. Ive recently started a plant based diet to help my chrons and although I do feel better, I will continue to see my doctor. I read about that 30 bananas a day thing too, it is so stupid...how can anyone recommend such a thing.

Exactly. I try to make it clear I am not anti clean diet. Obviously, that is crucial but when people have a disease they may still need a doctor and often this healthy lifestyle culture actually stigmatizes people for turning to Western medicine. It is actually infuriating to me that someone was pushing that diet for monetary profit. So immoral.
