Back2Work - My Actifit Report Card: June 4 2021
# The Battle Is Real

I am now back to work and holding down 10-15k steps daily but being completely exhausted I have yet to get back into any form of consistent posting. Many things I have tried and many I wish to but first my body needs to catch up with my will.

Freezing my butt off at B&C Food I am back to picking boxes and warehouse work although at my own pace. So far so good with 12 hours my first week and likely the same going forwards. I am sore as all bloody hell but I am not broken. Not yet fully able to walk normally yet the question remains if I ever will be able to...

If I overcome this it will only add to the message and legacy I have begun to build yet if I succumb to it the outcome may affect more than just myself.  No I do not see myself as important, rather I recognize each persons influence on another.... anyways ...

On top of all of that work I am doing regular exercise working on the core with planks and the like. Hopefully soon to graduate to using the excise ball as balance returns. So far no noticeable recovery of the calf muscle on my right leg but my big toe is almost at full strength. This has my physiotherapist looking into where exactly the separation of motor control happens between big toe and calf. 

Hinting there may be a secondary issue that needs addressing I hope that an exercise plan is the result 🤞 not another suggestion for surgery. I will have to talk with the surgeon to know for certain but it sounds like the fact I have full strength in my big toe while my calf remains nearly none functional is a bit of a nervous system mystery. The nerves should recover bit by bit down the leg ending at my toes. If I am to believe what doctors are hinting at then I likely have irreparable nerve damage somewhere.

Anyways I am back up and moving. Back to work and still striving to find stability. Taking moments to relax when I need them. Trying to stay focused on the positive.
