Simply put, free gamble, I am not waisting a potential opportunity. Only thing I haven’t staked is my recent earnings of PALcoin as I am playing with their [@minnowsupport](https://steemit.com/@minnowsupport) upvote service (I’ll report more in a future post, seems decent so far). Showing my support via staking the free LEO airdrop to PALcoin holders is the least I can do to show my support for [@Steem.Leo](https://steemit.com/@Steem.Leo) 💪

### The Plan

Going forward I am not certain what these posts of mine will contain as I am not a professional trader or even day trade much thus I have more of a long term mindset around the investment of holding and benefits through function provided.

What I can say with conviction is I like being able to reward authors and earn myself in fourfold with LEO, PAL, DTC and STEEM. I am a DTuber, though taking a break currently, I will most likely try make the most of this benefit with powering up anything earned on our #OneLoveDTube community curation accounts also 🙌

My posts will be more of the opening discussion nature as there are many aspects of investment. My account standings come from investment of time and energy, support of projects such as Partiko from the beginning and a willingness to share what I have learned and not from the direct investment of funds. I believe this journey to be of the most important to share emphasizing the challenges overcome and missteps taken along the way for others to learn from.

So I am eager to see the development and adoption plus function of these SteemEngine tokens and also for the incoming SMT’s with hardfork 21 but is it possible that these tokens could have a downward influence on price action of Steem?

As stated above no investor here these are my ramblings....

I read that ETH suffered due to SMT when entering the bear market with compounding downward pressure and the analysis given seemed to make sense when compared to none SMT chains. The explanation given is projects were requiring funding cashing out their own tokens to ETH then fiat for physical funding.

I can see how it may influence the price upward as further Steem is locked up and follow a similar parabolic path as ETH but could it not also have the same compounding downward effect of price of our native Steem as SMT’s & Tokens are sold off for funding?

A further thought...

Isn’t the main interest of using these tokens for the sake of raising funding and funding our projects in a rewarding way? Seems to be counterintuitive if the only way of using that investment is by selling and adding to the downward price action....

Well at the moment people getting into tribes are mostly looking to get stake because they all active steemians there are a few earning to sell for steem or earning to sell and get out entirely,but I think the hype will keep it going for a bit

Unless these tribes focus on on boarding users outside steem they won’t be proving much value to the ecosystem apart from second tier rewards for us who are in the know

I differ in priority IMO I believe we need to improve the user experience before we on board as currently things are more confusing than they once were.... your correct though as of now it does seem to be just an added level of rewards but still trying to understand how the tribe benefits from the actual token created if not cashing out to steem for further funding 🤔

I'm a complete n00b still when it comes to investing - in fact, Steem is the first and only thing I've ever invested fiat cash into. However, I'm super stoked about the @Steem.Leo project for that very reason - I'm hoping to ~~wrap my brain around~~ learn more of the basics so I can become an active investor in things, not For now, my #steemleo posts will probably be limited to my once-a-month #SPUD adventures, but once it clicks in my brain, who knows? 😊

And I agree with you - openly discussing what works for you, and what doesn't, is a great way to help others along in their journey.
