I will bet you that even if SMT are brought to life, nothing will happen. Nothing will change . You know why??? Where is the dammed audience? Bots? And by the way steemit.com is slowly than ever.

Explain to me how SMT will bring more money into Steem and how they will stop pricing going dust

So Steemit audience data is more or less irrelevant. It's an application oriented blockchain, that's true, but the real business is _on top of it_. SMT may potentially bring in more dApps which will each create their own token and generate their own audience. At least that's what I'm hoping to see.
