Can Bithumb halt Steem decline as it resumes deposits and withdrawal on August 4th 2018.

Bithumb has been sending Steemians into a frenzy as they watch Steem prices rocket on the platform (Bithumb) only to be lock out from the action given the fact that deposits and wtihdrawal has been disabled for over a month. At the time of writing Steem is currently trading at $4.89 USD while the wider markets trades at $1.21 USD.

Given the fact that Bithumb 24hr trading volume comprises more than 65% of Steem daily volumes, it all points to some positive price action providing that traders at the Bithumb exchange remains interested. Steemians would hope that this price action can stir the interest of traders at Upbit who have gone cold on Steem as they try to take advantage of arbitrage opportunity. Overall this developments point well for Steem and the Steem market can establish a base and hopefully we can see some upward price action from here moving forward. Keep your eyes on volume, if Bithumb can spark the interest of traders at Upbit and Huobi, it can translate to platforms like Binance and Bittrex we can see desired 24hr trading volumes in the upward limits of 20 to 60 million USD.
