"_Tell them that its human nature_" Why? Why? "_Tell them that its human nature_" Why? Why? This evening I got the time to digest the latest development in the Steem ecosystem, for those who aren't aware the dapp known as "DLive" has decided to go its separated way. @Meno has done much of the heavy lifting and detective, here is the post: https://steemit.com/dlive/@meno/an-objective-look-at-dlive-s-exit I encourage readers to have a look at the post to understand the dynamics that were being played. Its a lost for both parties, arguably Dtube, SteemMonsters, Dsound and Dlive are among the best innovation within the Steem ecosystem. Without mixing words, Steemit got played like a Violin. ![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmfRBxg3zHAoH5ecsPfAbyVPyzxHJRMii7qALHrhATDsd8/image.png) _Photo Credits_: besthqwallpapers My biggest fear it won't be the last, _loyalty_ is rare. Don't get me wrong, Steem has a loyal fan base and anyone continually putting out quality content without any significant payout for an extended period of time, "kudos to them". Steem needs to develop a philosophy that everyone buys into, some have to be able shoulder temporary pain while others need to be ruthless to ensure the blockchain remains dominant and isn't seen as an easy train to ride on. I cannot stress this enough, once people get frustrated and they see an opportunity where they can make things better for themselves and build a community from it, they would bail on Steem. Steem needs to get more organize, we need bloggers and traders, we must not settle with the build and they come mentality. It isn't all about scalability anymore, I used to fall for that philosophy but I realize software tends to scale with time as engineers better understand their trade. I repeat, SMT should not be the ultimatum, if that is the goal, then you attract the kind of people who did precisely what "Dlive" did, ride the tide and jump when the opportunity arises. The Steem blockchain works, it works well, the sign up process could do with a boost but everyone should not buy into "this is the problem" mentality. I realized lots of people buy into the "longterm" investors, damn with the speculators/ traders but Steem token and I repeat the Steem chart need some attention. We need traders, I repeat we need traders, I was shock when folks said exchanges like Bithumb and HitBTC volume are fake and the volumes traded there are manipulated. I always remind these folks, its precisely these kind of traders/ speculators Steem need. Its quite simple why volumes on these exchanges are so extended, its not a matter of profiting on every trade for these traders, its all about volume, big volume equal rebate and no fees. Its a competition among these traders, and if we can get that kind of a group behind Steem token it works out well. Here is why? To an extent you need to understand the bets behind the Dlive crew, "We can do better if we go on our own". Look at the Steem token, they are placing the bet that they can indeed attract the users here on Steem to use their platform, launch their own token and out perform the Steem token. They are placing that bet, its that simple. Whats needed right now without mixing words, Steem needs to show solid performance, gains in both BTC and USD. Developers should know, this is the place to be. It's that simple, or folks would come with the milking mentality or "its gonna drop anyway", let see how much we can milk out of it. Base on the way things are happening on the Steem blockchain, my fear, its probably heading for another Dlive episode. There are a lot of bullshitting on the platform, and as I said above _"Its human nature"_.

The thing is they are not doing better on their own and doing it on their own they are changing block chains mostly because its a new block chain thats giving them publicity. What sucks is they have no care in the world about all the money steemit users dumped into them. Loyalty they have none of it but seriously only people to blame are the ones that still use it and still invest in it
