I try not to use too much of my firewood as I like to conserve it. I usually light a fire at night when it is more cold. In the day I like to sit out in the sun. I let the sun warm my face and that will produce the natural vitamin D.

One good thing about sitting out in the warm sun is that it will give you time to meditate. Now the world will want you to meditate on nothing. The scriptures instruct us to meditate on the law of the LORD.
 
As it is written, But his delight in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Psalm 1:2. Of course to meditate on the law of the LORD we better know the law of the LORD.

And so it is written, Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 1 Timothy 4:13.

And then some of you might say, I don't have time to read the scriptures. Well, do you have time to hear the scriptures? As it is written, So then faith by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17.

With all our technology we can hear the scriptures. We can play the scriptures in our car as we drive with our car stereos or some portable mp3 device.

Even as I write, my computer on another tab is playing the King James Version of the scriptures. Sure just keep on hearing the word of God, it would be better than hearing the satanic programming of the world.

This reminds me of another scripture, as it is written, I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies my meditation. Psalm 119:99.

Can you imagine that meditating on the scriptures will give you more understanding then all your teachers? Let's do it. Let's meditate on God's word day and night. For there is promises if one does that.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:3.
