 OK, I just caught myself. Let me explain. It’s the end of the evening. I’ve been going for about 10-ish hours. I’ve had some breaks and yoga here and there but other than that It’s been a FULL DAY…

No bones about it, I’m tired. It’s about 6pm and I could easily hit the pillow and be OUT for  11 hours no problem, and I’m sitting here thinking to myself…

Yeah the feeling came on maybe quicker than I noticed, but is it really a wall when you’ve had a full day? In honesty I got a ton of things I meant to do in, and a bunch I didn’t even have on my list. What I’m saying is, I’m bad recognizing tiredness for what it really is, and what it should be… TIREDNESS…

I think because I got so used to feeling low energy, spaced out, focus troubles, tough mornings ect, that I never felt like I got enough work done to warrant being tires. Admittedly feeling that way was due to non work related things like overall health, exercise foods ect. But I’m just now realizing I have a really tough time recognizing that when I’m tired nowadays, it’s usually for good reason, and it’s usually best not to push past it.

I’ve got a sick full of dishes and a dryer full of clean clothes that need sorting but after that it’s straight to bed for me… I COULD do more and get a start on that new copywriting job, but tonight I’ll be going to sleep knowing I did my best, and expended my energy wisely. There’s always tomorrow to keep going. 

Speaking of that AVC live, I can’t believe how awesome my hair is today. This is going into my 3rd week without using commercial shampoo or conditioner. Just a diluted honey and water rinse, and an ACV rinse. I’m SHOCKED. By about 3 or 4 days without washing my hair is typically a Danny Zucco level grease ball from my scalp to my ears, and then rough, dry and crispy from the ears down. I keep playing with my hair like, who’s hair is this!!? The goal is to get it to the place where I only have to do that natural wash once a week.

Not only is it going to save me a wad of cash, but ya really can’t beat easily maintained, no-wash hair for that on the road van life. I know it might sound silly but these little lifestyle changes now, while we have the security of a home base like meal prep, hair changes, fitness stuffs, is going to come SO in handy when we’re out there on the road. If I’m being honest I don’t even know if I could have sat on a plane 6 hours a few months ago my back was that bad. 

And now I’m doing yogas again! Ugh! I could cry I’m so thankful for that. Thankful that when you give your body what it needs it will always give you a second, third, eighty-fifth chance.

I hope you’ve slept well my darling. I know you’re going to absolutely plow through today. You’re here, you’ve got all 10 fingers and 10 toes (it’s ok to check if you’re not sure, it’s still early lol). You’ve got internets, you’ve got style you’ve got grace.. OH! You know what I mean. We’ve got a lot more than a lot of folks lets turn today into something awesome yea? I love you...
