<a href="https://musing.io/q/rusinho027/pkayjexsw">View this answer on Musing.io</a><br /><p>All you gotta do is apply! &nbsp;Now, it's not nearly that easy. &nbsp;You have to earn enough votes from Steem users that you'll get ranked. &nbsp;You'll also need a server of your own that will serve as a witness node. &nbsp;That's the expensive part, right there! &nbsp;You'll also need to contribute to the steem blockchain on a daily basis, if not multiple times a day. &nbsp;There are fires to put out, constituents to interact with, and code commits to vote upon.</p>
