Feliz tarde amigos. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la torta que le hice a mi mamá para el día de las madres. Bueno mi mamá sabe que siempre la consiento y no solo el día de las madres. Una de sus tortas favoritas es la red velvet y aquí les explicaré paso a paso como la hice.

- ***Happy afternoon friends. Today I want to share with you the cake I made for my mother for Mother's Day. Well my mom knows that I always consent to her and not just on Mother's Day. One of her favorite cakes is red velvet and here I will explain step by step how I made it.***

Para hacer está torta necesitamos los siguientes ingredientes:

- 250 gr de mantequilla.
- 380 gr de azúcar.
- 400 gr de harina de trigo.
- 10 gr de cacao.
- 5 gr de colorante 
- 2 gr de bicarbonato
- Sal
- 2 huevos 
- 1 taza de leche.
- 1 cucharada de vinagre

- ***To make this cake we need the following ingredients:***

- 250 gr of butter.
- 380 gr of sugar.
- 400 gr of wheat flour.
- 10 gr of cocoa.
- 5 gr of coloring
- 2 gr of bicarbonate
- Salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of milk.
- 1 tablespoon vinegar

Vamos a comenzar batiendo la mantequilla y la azúcar hasta que está se integre bien y la mantequilla tenga un tono amarillo más claro.

- ***We are going to start beating the butter and sugar until it is well integrated and the butter has a lighter yellow tone.***

Luego vamos a agregar los dos huevos a la mezcla de la mantequilla y azúcar.

Ahora vamos a agregar la leche, a la leche le vamos a agregar la cucharada de leche y esto hará que la leche se corte, está ayuda a qué nuestra red velvet quedé esponjosa e intensifica el color rojo.

Ahora en un colador coloco la harina de trigo, el cacao, bicarbonato , la sal y el colorante. Hago esto para que todos los ingredientes secos se integren y así colocarlo en los ingredientes liquidos.

- ***Now in a colander I place the wheat flour, cocoa, bicarbonate, salt and coloring. I do this so that all the dry ingredients are integrated and thus place it in the liquid ingredients.***

Ahora es momento de integrar todo esto.

Y aquí pueden ver cómo luce la mezcla y se ve bastante roja que eso es lo que queremos.

Cómo quería hacer algo especial hice la torta en forma de corazón.

Mientras la torta está en el horno, vamos ha hacer el frosting de queso crema. Vamos a comenzar batiendo media taza de mantequilla sin sal.

- ***While the cake is in the oven, we are going to make the cream cheese frosting. We are going to start by whisking half a cup of unsalted butter.***

Vamos a agregar una taza y media de azúcar glass, y media taza de queso crema.

- ***We are going to add a cup and a half of icing sugar, and a half cup of cream cheese.***

Cuando la torta estuvo lista la coloque en un disco dorado. Y coloqué la crema en una manga pastelera e hice una decoración bastante sencilla pero que devo perfecta en está torta.

- ***When the cake was ready I placed it on a golden disk. And I placed the cream in a pastry bag and made a fairly simple decoration but that was perfect for this cake.***

Para terminar la decoración coloque unas rosas de papel y un Topper.
