There is a popular saying that showing appreciation also means another can be done, if earthly men can be moved to do more by the showing of appreciation how much more our God who owns the earth, Jesus taught us this with the story of the ten lepers, though they were all healed only one was made whole because he recognized the power of appreciation,thanks for sharing

In this life, we must always be close to God, so God will always love us all the time, and God will always facilitate all our affairs in this world. Thankfulness and giving glory to God open the door to unlimited prosperity in every area of our lives. 
We must give thanks even when we don't see anything happening in our lives. 
We must not wait to praise God until our blessings has come. We must do it beforehand.
Praise causes increase, breakthrough and overflow

showing gratitude to people and helping others is a way of showing gratitude to God. This is seen in Matt 25:40- which says “Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me”. This is thanksgiving to God by serving Him through others.
Thanksgiving to God is fundamental to a believer because it is the only means of communicating with God which is inclusive of worship, prayer, faith, holiness, giving and sacrifice.

Give thanks to God for the huge things, as well as for the little things. When we thank Him paying little respect to our conditions, He will bring us out of our pit and put our feet on strong ground. Jesus is our bliss. When we let Him emerge, our adversaries will be scattered. Our assistance originates from God, on Whom we should center.
 When we look our lives we see that there is always something to thank God for.

One very important point you highlighted here is that we should not hold up to praise God until the point when our increase has come—we should do it previously.  At every point in our existence, we should give thanks to God,  be it a good situation or a bad one.  He deserves our praise at all times

we should be thankful and have the blessing of God on fruitfulness.Joseph was a clear example of the fruitful blessing he came in as a slave into Egypt and was blessed in a strange land and became a prime minister and ruler

God is the blesser of us all

He who confide in the master will dependably be productive in everything he do and his spirit should dependably praise the living God.Your level and circumstance can simply change just when you have the ruler in your heart and when you are prepared to acknowledge him in truth and in soul.

The psalmist himself said that we should praise God, something in the life of a Christian, it's only praises that brings deliverance, we saw this in the Paul and Silas when they prayed and sang in prison, we must be an embodiment of praise because God loves praises and worship.

The More we praise God, the more He raise us.
Those that are committed in praising God never remain at the dip but always been raised by God.

Praising God should an attitude which we need to cultivate if we really want yo enjoy all round fruitfulness. Because whenever we praise God,we commit Him to react and bless us in return.

Godliness with contentment is great gain! We need also to rejoice when others receive their blessing before us! A grateful heart, our sins are forgiven and our name is written in the book of life.
I believe the attitude we should have is written in Habakkuk.
Hab 3:17  Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Hab 3:18  Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

This grateful person will never be conquered!

If we want to see and experience God’s blessings in our lives, we must embrace an attitude of deliberate thankfulness. There is real power involved in being thankful, because giving thanks is the key to fruitfulness. We are accustomed to hearing the world’s murmuring and complaining, but proactively thanking and praising God in advance will activate increase.

By giving thanks in prayer-We should thank God as often as we pray that we should have his spirit in us to teach us to pray. We should bear it in mind that the prayer that begins with trustfulness and passes on into waiting, will always end in thankfulness, triumph and praise. We show our dependence on God through prayerful thanksgiving which should be done daily

How would you feel, giving your child something and not getting any appreciation?  Think about it.  The nine disappeared and only one person came back to testify. Such a disheartening character.  We are all victims of this, in one way or the other.  

Prayer:

<b>Lord Jesus, how easily our attention gets settled on the things of ‘me.’ Forgive us for looking only from our perspective, for the moments where we have taken Your grace and mercy for granted and not lived the lives of thanksgiving You desire. Help us to be the one rather than the nine, to recognise You in everything, and guide us so that we will always, in everything, return to You.  </b>

We don't just have to give up in praising God.
We should malwa praise God even when we haven't received what we are expecting from God.

"Let the people praise God and let the earth yield it increase"

There's always blessings ,raising and fruitfulness in praising God.

He alone is worthy of our praises.

When we praise God,He will lift us.

Praise brings God's presence and wherever his presence is,His glory will surely filled the place and where His glory filled, there's definitely fruitfulness and blessings in abundance.
