The latest news I read about Huawei was that ARM, the chipset maker has cut off hauwei from it's Business list.

This reminds me of when BSV was delisted from binance and a host of other people followed, not minding what initially led to it or the motivation of binance.

Huawei has been an awesome company, producing well constructed phones and moving forward in pace a lot.

Around February-march of 2019, they surpassed apple as the number 2 phone maker in the world, cutting up to 17% of the total market share, while apple had 12.

This was a big win for Android as a whole, as 80%+ of all phones currently in use in the world today is android, leaving a less than 15% share for apple.

What is actually quite annoying is the unfounded allegations that Trump and the United States govt have been throwing against Huawei as being in league with them military components arm of the chinese govt.

These allegations reached a head this month, when a new policy by the trump administration, allowed Google or rather informed Google to ban Huawei from accessing its android services, such as Gmail, YouTube and the likes.

It's a heavy blow to the number 2 phone maker in the world, more so since slot of company like quadcomm, microsoft, ARM have followed suit.

It's sad to see hauwei go down like this and also the US govt showing once again that they care not for what happens to the ppl.

Millions of hauwei phones are in the market and with these news, prices and value will be dropping fast, ppl become skeptical about the brand and if what the US says turns out not to be true, they have just successfully destroyed a brand for the sake of power tussle between the Us govt and china.

News can really affect prices and destroy companies. I for one think both parties have gone to the extremes. Privacy issue is now a serious thing and a country cannot have access to phone records on demand easily. Let's see how things turn out. Maybe both countries will loose
