The Most Beautiful Country in the World! Smartphone Photography!

<center>I wanted to try something a little new... </center>

I walk around with my camera everyday. Not a day goes by where it doesn't leave the house with me. I take it to work, I take it to school, I take it when I hang out with friends. I'm so used to it and I love it.

But I've been reading lots of posts saying that you can take (make!) fantastic photos with any kind of camera... I was curious! Is this true? I'm pretty sure it obviously is, but either way I wanted to try. Admittedly I am cheating because nothing can really compare to New Zealand in Beauty... But still!

In daylight, nearly every camera performs the same, and this can be shown by these pictures. It is only in low light and some specific situations (such as features and technical scenarios) that bigger, dedicated cameras begin to shine.

I also noticed how frustrating these photos are to edit due to the lack of RAW and dynamic range. But enough about the camera!

New Zealand definitely has some beautiful spots, this particular one was in Taranaki. This river flows from mount Taranaki to the ocean close by. There are some nice deeper areas of the river to swim in, and I'm sure that with more snow would come more water and even more areas!

You might be able to tell there is a loss of detail in areas of these images... This is due to them being old (3 or 4 years old!) and being compressed in many different ways, many different times.

This shot here was from Nelson! If you want some amazing scenery, the South Island is one of the best places you can go. There are vast landscapes of both the land and sea. If you've ever seen Lord of the Rings, then you'll know what I'm talking about :)

Of course the country isn't all country! There are also some pretty cool cities dotted around the place. This particular image is from Mount Eden in Auckland... A city built on volcanoes. Good idea right?

I can't wait to visit NZ again to take some more photos!

Beautiful photos @devi1714 Those kiwi landscapes are a veritable feast for my eyes. I can't wait to get back to N.Z. some time too as I wasn't into photography when I was over there the last time. Resteeming so that I can keep on enjoying those scenes.
