This is the ICO auction. It is structured as uncapped rounds. Donations to our project and vote fund will be distributed based on donations in the round. In this calculator, you can see how many tokens are up for auction. How many blocks are left in the round, as well as how much has been donated. So right now about $100 has been donated, which means if one were to donate about $100 then you'd get roughly 1/2 the tokens up for auction. But if you wait to see how many other people want to bid in the auction the value of your $100 will slowly accelerate toward $50. Meaning you'd get 1/3 of the tokens donating in the last blocks. This ensures the best outcomes for those most excited about the project.

> In most uncapped rounds all investment activity is at the beginning and end. This gradual acceleration toward 50% ensures that there is always an incentive to purchase now for community price discovery, but also to encourage further investment as your share to investment ratio grows with each additional bid. We couldn't think of a fairer way to incentivize participation. There are no GAS prices or ways to censor other bids on STEEM.

Once our SMT is launched the only way to acquire these will be through creating and engaging with dlux content or trading them among the users. 

Our ICO will be distributed this way for 60% of the tokens, which means roughly 60 cents on the dollar will be built in to each token. About 30% is earmarked to on-boarding users, which increase the value of the dlux economy by incentivizes more content and attracting more engagement. Steem has several unique advantageous ways to collect and utilize capital; we believe this is the perfect platform for ICOs.
