Memuliakan Ibu adalah suatu keharusan bagi kita semua, bahkan orang yang tidak beragama sekalipun akan setuju dengan hal ini.

Ada banyak hal yang terlintas di alam pikiran tatkala berbicara masalah IBU. Mulai dari mereka bertemu dengan suaminya (ayah kita) sampai kita menjadi ayah. Memang terlahir  dari rahim mereka bukanlah pilihan kita melainkan takdirnya Allah Swt. Namun, mengabdi dan memuliakannya adalah kewajiban dan perintah Allah Swt. Sekalipun Ibu kita berseberangan aqidah dengan kita, untuk persoalan dunia kita wajib mentaati mereka.

Iya, begitulah adanya seperti yang diungkapkan oleh ustaz Abdul Somad, ketika seseorang tidak memuliakan ibunya maka tidak ada kemuliaan baginya. Tentu ini bukan mitos dan tidak perlu cara berpikir ilmiah untuk persoalan memuliakan Ibu.

Bahkan, tidak ada gunanya ketika kita menjadi seorang saudagar, harta yang berlimpah ruah, hidup dengan kemewahan dan kehebatan serta kepintaran pada ujungnya disaat kita melukis hari Ibu kita makan siap-siaplah kita jatuh dalam genangan penderitaan sebagaimana genangan air matanya.
