Always call to check up on them and to know how they are doing. This will send a positive message towards them that you value them, which will definitely gear them towards reciprocating. Hanging out is another great way to strengthen your friendship bond when you both are chanced. You can arrange to go on vacation, sightseeing, cinema etc, anything you both enjoy doing most, this will leave good memories and strengthen your friendship. Learn to appreciate your friendship with them, as this will remind them that you truly value and have them in mind. As a true friend, if you truly value your relationship, you must be always willing to render help towards your friend especially when they are going through a hard time. You should also have in mind all the important dates of your friend such as birthdays, wedding anniversary etc and making sure to call or text them on that day. Gifting is another way towards maintaining a good friendship although not necessary. When buying a gift for your friend, make sure to buy what they love most like their favorite shoes. Giving a gift to your friend especially on important dates such as birthdays will let them know that you are thinking about them. Make sure to be understanding with your friend and ready to apologize when you make mistake, this will help to easily overcome conflict in your relationship with them. Lastly, always encourage your friend especially during trying times as this will show that you really care for them.</div>
