Edward Snowden is developing a device that prevents radio-snitching for your iPhone.

This device is supposed to look like a case but obviously is definitely not a case. It will provide users with guaranteed privacy, not just like turning your phone off or playing around with privacy settings. Some types of malware can make your phone look like it is turned off even when it isn't and Snowden wants people to be protected from surveillance and advanced hacking.

It works because the wires would read the electrical signals to the two antennas in the phone that are used by its radios, including GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and cellular modem. Users can get alert messages or an audible alarm if its radios transmit anything when they’re meant to be off.

I heard someone bring up the point that it could be used to help reporters on mission to hostile foreign countries protect their locations which is good but there is always the other side, such as serious criminals using the device so they can't be tracked. 

I do think it's a very good idea but I also question whether this actually will provide 100% privacy. Will Apple and  some governments just allow this product to do what it's supposed to do or will they somehow try and fight against it?
