Truth Anecdote 👆 From The Maker of "The Big Bang Theory"
**So I was watching the latest episode of "The Big Bang Theory" today and somehow decided to check the message that shows up once the episode is finished, where a so called Vanity card is being used.**

*Often a logo, or short message is used to brand the producers of a TV production. Like the famous Warner Bros. logo:*

 [Chuck Lorre](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Lorre), an American Television writer of numerous popular sitcoms such as "The Big Bang Theory", "Dharma and Greg" and "Two and a Half Men". Has been using these vanity cards officially branded as "Chuck Lorre Productions", as a trademark for his productions. Having a different picture or written anecdote at the end of most of its sitcoms.

I never really paid much attention to them and you need to pause the screen to even be able to read them (the written versions), but I am glad I did today...

@droucil you are absolutely right that in real world people often see their own interest, but dear exception are always there. e.g solider can't pay much to sacrifice his life for his dear homeland, motive and devotion also creates impact, but for majority of people you are absolutely right. People are mostly materialistic. They always want to gain without any sacrifice:(. bitter truth. well written post

Well, the anecdote ain't mine, but I do 100% agree with it. In case of wars people often get manipulated and "bought" out. War is good for business, not so for humanity itself. As the anecdote explains our nationalist culture teaches us to aim for profit and personal benefit. While in truth, like as in movies and TV shows often is expressed, our hearts long for humanitarian gain.

Your absolutely correct @droucil that, "the truth could never be more clear" 
I am sure that the truths you found in Mr. Lorre's vanity card are absolutely correct as well, but did it register with you that you had to pause the screen in order to read it?  The Hollywood types and government use a term and method known as "hiding in plain sight", they will put stuff out in view of the masses knowing that people will never take the time to read or understand what they are saying. In the event that something happens they can then always go back and pull the little obscure message and say "We told you so , see, it's right here." 
Hollywood producers and writers are bought and sold each day by the "people" in control. This may be his attempt to clear his conscience on being a part of a society that is working to ruin the country it is a part of.
His words are true with regards to the history of the US, we were in fact sold out a long time ago. The perception of freedom exists, but it is only a perception, one which is being eroded over time.
I wonder what the previous 570 vanity cards had to say since this came from #571.

Actually I checked a few others and most of them aren't so deep, a lot of them are just pics as well. It is the writer here (at least I assume he wrote it) that is simply stating how it is. Sure there is plenty of rotten apples out there, of whom some will do everything to keep the system in place the way it is right now. But the "us vs. them" mentality is something I believe we need to get rid off. A lot of people in higher ranks just go with how it is. Whether it be fear to speak out, frozen in the grid, or just pure greed, at the end we're all just humans...
