# Sajek Valley
Sajek valley is one of the few hill destinations in Bangladesh. It is situated in the Baghaichari subdistrict under the Rangamati hill district area. But the place is connected by road with the hill town of Khagrachari. There is only one road from Khagrachari to Sajek via Dighinala without any alternative.

Sajek is situated in the borders of Tripura and Mizoram of India. It is regarded as the biggest union (local govt unit) in Bangladesh covering more than 700 sq. miles. Sajek consist of two habitats known as Para - Rui Lui Para and Kutalong Para. Lusai is the predominant tribes here along with Tripuri.

The sight of sunset and sunrise are particularly mesmerizing here.

The best time to visit Sajek is during and after rainy season. There are a number of army owned and privately owned resorts in Sajek. The resorts are run by solar energy. There is a dearth of water during dry seasons.
