Drawing this portrait so far has been a lot of fun. This one will be very challenging for me, but that is actually the main purpose of me doing this.  I have drawn many many portraits, hundreds. Now i feel like i have to try something different and lately i have been focusing more on my own feelings and how i want the result to look like. Doing commissioned portraits for a long time, it really felt like a work. I had up to 10 portraits a month to do aside from my other projects, which i had a lot, because i am a very motivated and productive person. As the time went by, i started to take this as a job, which it is in a way, but it is something i just love to do, and no money would ever motivate me to do it. I started it all with no money and  i never thought about it. I just loved to do what i do, and that as we know can pull you through the hardest times, so you can rise again later and take your success. That is my definition of success, because you cant do what you hate , because when the hard times come, you will fail.
This man which i am drawing now is a spiritual teacher. A very special drawing for me, so i am putting everything in it. As you can see he is old, which makes the practical process of it harder. It is harder at least for me to draw old people. The skin in two times difficult for drawing, because it is not smooth and just old looking, which takes a lot of skill do get that reflected in a drawing.
