My Actifit Report Card: June 11 2020

Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by today!

The day began with going to work. It was just me, myself and I, which was good. Not too many people stopped in and I was able to get most everything that needed doing, done. I can always find something to do so it’s never 100% done, but that’s called job security, lol!

I got home after a stop at the post office and prepared to go for a hike. It was still dripping from the all day downpour we had had. It had warmed up just slightly, and whereas it would normally have been a nice temperature for hiking, the humidity made it pretty nasty. 

As many of you know, I watch for snails when I hike. Once, I stepped on one accidentally and ever since, I’ve kind of made a personal cause to never do that again. When I find them, I photograph them and then move them out of harm’s way. So, here are tonight’s snail babies.

They say land snails can live upwards of 10 years. I would say we do very well in longevity in our neck of the woods. These guys ranged in age of 5-7 years today. 

Actifit-Lamb said she was cold tonight, but wanted to sit on the whiskey barrel up at Towhee Ridge.

And last but not least, for my #TinyTreasure entry; I had to be careful which barrel I allowed Actifit-Lamb to sit on because one of them had a baby infestation! Check this out!

They had not started to fly away at that point, however I do believe I brought one home with me!🙀
