Hello my fellow steemians, greetings to you all. I hope you are all doing well by His grace? It is a privilege to wake up and see a new day because not all people had it. The ongoing contest going on in this platform will go a long way to help each and everyone here to develop writing skills and broaden our mind in reading and the level of comprehension skills. I will use this opportunity to also drop my post about the writing contest. My story is about being patient and wait for God's time because God's time is the best.

     GOD TIME IS THE BEST
Once upon a time, there live a man in a village called Gyaguol in Northern Region of Ghana. This man was called Sug-lu meaning patient. This man and his wife was married for fifteen years without children. They became a laughing stock in the village. Many peoples blamed them for their inability to have children. They gave them all sort of barbaric names, some even called them witches. They said they have eaten all their children and non is left in his wife womb to be delivered. 




Sug-lu and his wife hardly go out because of the insult they will receive from the peoples. Sometimes when they go to town to buy somethings in the market, the sellers refused selling to them because they may bring their by-luck to their market. They chases them away anytime they went to town to buy items. This gave them restless night day by day. They hardly sleep in the night because of the problems surrounding them. They blamed them for all the evil doing going on in the town. The elders teamed together and sent Sug-lu and his wife from the town by convincing the Chief in the town to believed that the man and his wife are indeed evil.

Sug'lu and his wife went to settled a village called Nansuon, literally means coolness. When they got to the town, they went straight to the Chief palace and greeted the Chief. They got to the palace and kneeled before the Chief and greeted him. They found favor with the Chief because of how respected they are. The Chief offered them a large piece of land to farm on it. Sug-lu and his wife goes to the Chief palace everyday to show respect to the Chief. Two years time in the village, Nansuon wife got pregnant and delivered a baby boy. You can imagine the happiness their life that time. They rejoiced and praised God for his handwork. They sing praises to God every day. They sang songs like;


          God your too good, God your wonderful,
          God your too fine, God your mercyful
          You are the father, for the fatherless you
          You are the father for the ophans , you are
          so good, you are so good, dear my God.
          God your wonderful, God your mercyful, 
          dear my God.
          God your father, for the fatherless dear my
          God.


After one year time, Sug-lu found favor in him because of how respectful and honest he is. The Chief decided to make him the second in command in the village who will be taking care of all the properties in the kingdom. He was in charge of all the farms and all other properties in the Chief possession. He served the Chief honestly and throughly. Sug-lu became famous in Nansuon village and the neighboring villages. One very day. One very day, something strange happened. His formal villagers came to the village to seek for help.

The farming could'nt favor them because of lack of rain. All their crops could'nt yield because of the shortage of rain. They came to Nansuon village and pleaded the Chief to help them with foodstuffs because their pupils are dying of hunger. The Chief was touched by their words and decided to help them. He called Sug-lu and asked him for his advice on the matter. The strangers saw Sug-lu and was shocked. They couldn't believed what they just saw. The man they sent from their village is now in charge of what they are seeking for. They couldn't look at him when they saw him. They were all ashamed and bowed their heads. They kneeled in front of Sug-lu and begged for forgiveness. The Chief of Nansuon was very hungry after he got to know that they are the same peoples who sent Sug-lu away from their village. Because how kind hearted Sug-lu was, he pleaded the Chief in their behalf and the Chief agreed and told Sug-lu to assist them. 


            MORAL LESSONS
Sug-lu formal villagers taught Sug-lu have nothing in them but with God all things are possible. No matter how hard the situation will be just look up to God in heaven, His time is the best. Remember, no condition is permanent, work hard and pray to God, His ways are not man's ways.
