>**Until now you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be full. John 16:24 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)**
#
How should we ask the Father for what we need to lead the model of life that God wants us to lead on earth?
#
Simply put, Jesus teaches his disciples that the best way to receive every good gift from the heavenly Father is precisely by asking in his name, that is, in the name of Jesus.
#
As Christians we must be clear that both the name of Jesus and our faith are important to receive, whatever we ask of the heavenly Father, who dwells on high. Not only will we obtain from the Father what we need, but we must believe that in the name of Jesus, we already have what we have asked for in our prayers.
#
Faith frees our understanding of Scripture and opens the way for the Spirit's activity in our lives. Faith, like love, manifests itself in obedience. Faith brings us closer to God, so that we receive from Him the things we need.
#
In the same way, Jesus also said to his disciples: "And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:22.
#
Jesus emphasizes the need to "believe" in what we are asking for in prayer. Remember, doubt is the enemy of faith. We can achieve nothing in the name of Jesus if we do not have enough faith to trust that we have what we are asking for. God is pleased that we trust Him, therefore, the very word of God says, "Without faith it is impossible to please God."
#
In life we โโneed many relevant and significant things that allow us to lead the life that God wants for his children, however, the way to receive them from God is through faith and in the name of Jesus.
#
Let us begin now, to use the name of Jesus as appropriate in our prayers to receive from the Father, what we have not received so far.
