The right step has been taken, finally things are going in right directions

As steemcurator01 mentions, the community of the month applications are a good place to look.  If you find plagiarised content, inform the admins and moderators and if they don't take action, then the Steemit Team will look upon their applications less favourably.  You've probably seen [this post](https://steemit.com/hive-108572/@endingplagiarism/plagiarism-guide-for-community-leaders) which is aimed at the community leaders to put more of an onus on them to catch and deal with plagiarists. Please share this with community leaders when you find plagiarised content.

I don't believe that the daily plagiarism reports are the best use of time as it will be an endless, demoralising task of highlighting abusers on the platform.  These users often use upvoting services or are using high powered accounts for farming.  A well known account with over 1,000,000 Steem Power is farming quite heavily and there's no hope of getting that kind of delegation. - You'll also have seen [the consequences of abusing the role of community leader](https://steemit.com/hive-108572/@endingplagiarism/close-the-world-community-abuse)...

If community leaders Label plagiarists (as my post suggests) and mute repeat offenders, then in time, they'll have nowhere to go and at least we'll know some communities are plagiarism free (meaning that the curators and booming know they can upvote content with confidence).

I think we need to move away from individual reports asking @endingplagiarism or @endplagiarism04 or any of the rest of the team to take action across the entire Steemit platform.  Instead, the community leaders should be being tagged and failure to act should result in a loss of support.

I would like to be part of the anti-plagiarism team, I assure you that I will do a great job investigating what I like to do the most and more if it is about catching an offending user doing plagiarism.

I have an idea because they don't create a discord server where private investigators can deliver their detailed report on the plagiarist as you mention there are powerful accounts that are cultivating votes with plagiarized posts and nobody does anything about it and if one makes a post pointing to the culprit there is the possibility that this attack the private investigator lowering his reputation with his negative vote.

And I'm talking about very large whales.

As a moderator of the Writing & Reviews community, I have seen all kinds of fraud in terms of plagiarism of content, images and even duplicates of content. From our community we have done a great job to catch offenders, however, these criminals move to other communities to repeat patterns. Is there a way to lower their reputation? Is there a possibility to add them to a blacklist? It would be very good if they could be identified every time they make a Post.

I have read your post and agree to the private investigation role in this fight against plagiarism. Also, it is important to reduce the reputation or blur the post that is illegally posted on steemit, and delay to months or years the payout of the offenders.

@endingplagiarism do you remember me asking for a moderator position and asking what do I have to do or who should I contact? And you barely answered. I explained my experience having worked as a moderator on Uptrennd and also as a SEO specialist for almost 7 years so I know most of the tricks. 

In the end you sent me to the Tron foundation website were I was supposed to find an ad for the position and apply there. When I told you I didn't find anything, you didn't reply. 

I have been a member on dozens of crypto social media networks and most of the time plagiarism is the last concern of a team. And they don't want to kick members because it's all about growth and numbers. Few of them understood plagiarism destroying platforms in the long run. 

These developers often ask for volunteers, not realising how difficult, time consuming and nerve racking job it is. 

So I don't know who is the person responsible but just wanted to say always make sure you have a few paid employees who know what they are doing. And now with GPT3 and other AI tools it has become very easy to rewrite text and very difficult to spot it. Same goes for photos, videos, podcasts and music.

 @steemcurator01 @steemchiller @endplagiarism04 and if payment is not an option, at least upvote the comments or posts of those reporting spam and plagiarism because I have seen some cases that even that didn't happen. Finally, there should be some updates on the rules because I have reported accounts posting the same garbage every day and making $200 per post, all from bots and was told that nothing is wrong.
