那年在歐洲三個月的自助旅行，從荷蘭到德國，再前往波蘭、匈牙利．．．，本來自認不是吃貨，對於食物，不是那麼挑剔的我，還以為飲食習慣，應該不會對我旅行體驗有什麼影響，結果．．．我還是低估了食物對人的影響，我非常愛喝湯，每餐有個湯，感覺才算圓滿，但一踏入荷蘭境內開始，每一次在餐廳點的湯，都令我難以入口〔廢話，人家的湯就是拿來沾麵包吃的吼，妳直接拿來喝！〕，總之就是．．．鹹，很鹹，非常鹹，直到走到了波蘭，感覺湯勉勉強強能入口了，雖然還是偏鹹，再走到了匈牙利，第一天抵達布達佩斯，我便相中了青旅附近的一家餐廳，進了餐廳我點了一份匈牙利牛肉湯與一份牛排，那碗湯入口的瞬間，我想起媽媽的滷牛肉，第一次，吃到一個食物居然讓我有想哭的感覺，也是第一次，旅行途中如此的．．．想家，其實如果以湯品來說，那碗湯還是偏鹹些，但實在與媽媽的料理味道太過相近了，那一餐，那一個餐廳，是我整個旅程中，小費給最多的一餐，我記得我好像付了 30% 的小費〔天啊！能還我嗎？給出去的小費跟變了心的女朋友一樣，是回不來滴呀！！！〕。
