### MATTHEW 6:25-34
>Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Vs. 25
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Vs. 26
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? Vs. 27
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: Vs. 28
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Vs. 29
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Vs. 30
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? Vs. 31
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Vs. 32
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Vs. 33
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Vs. 34

As believers, one thing we should be sure of is knowing who we are in Christ and once we get to know how place in Christ, everything falls in place. We will no longer be pushed here and there by people about our faith, we will no longer look for Him in the wrong places, we will no longer fill empty because we know we are with Him and have our being in Him. That assurance alone about who we are in Christ makes us a fulfilled and happy person.
### BENEFITS OF KNOWING WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST
- We will no longer chase after the things of the flesh. When we know who we are, we will not join the rat race of life. We will only chase after the things that edifies us (Spiritual things). When we chase after God, men will run after us. Don't forget, chase after God's Kingdom and everything will be added unto you.
- We will know what e have access to. The knowledge of who you are, helps you to know what you have access to. When we sit with our Bible and study, also meditating, it will help us know who we are and what we have in Christ Jesus.
- We will no longer fear the future. He always assure us that He will never leave nor forsake us. He tells us that even before we were formed He knew us. When you know who you are in Christ, you will have no reason to fear of the future and what the future holds for you because He knows the end from the beginning.
Song writer says;
>Because He lives, i must face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone,
Because i know, He holds my future,
My life is sure, i live in just,
Because He lives.
- We will have no need to judge or compare ourselves with others. When we know who we are in Christ, we know that all we do is to please Him and for His glory. So the benefits of knowing who you are is that, it helps you stay in the place or lane God has called and chosen you to be and never compare or compete with anyone.
- We will know and be confident that though sorrow may last for a while, but joy comes in the morning. Our knowing Him, makes us confident and helps us have the knowledge that though we may be faced with trials and temptation and suffering but our confidence that it will produce things of eternal value in us.
