I just watched it recently.  IT"S PERFECT.

It touches ALL the bases.

It's politically correct.  All the white men are either villains, curmudgeons, or  stupid. Sometimes all three.

 It has the brilliant intellectual Asian.  The wise black professor and a significant number of hispanics.  

Except for the Wise Black Professor all the males are intellectually challenged. They pale by comparison to the Females.  The wasp is witty and has high cheekbones.  The 'phantom' is darling.  Naturally they are both 'victims' of the evil white, males ,who they are much smarter than. How can they be 'victims' of such doofuses whom they intellectually over match?

Don't ask.

And the science and technology is GREAT!
It's more believable than the [latest  UN   Climate Report]( http://joannenova.com.au/2018/10/abc-climate-fiction-life-at-0-5-degrees-hotter-dead-plants-animals-ghost-towns-jellyfish-hell/).  It's got QUANTUM ! (they say that a lot).  Quantum is so much better than mere nanotechnology or old fashioned fusion reactors.

It's grasp on the role  of the police is spot on.

"Does FBI mean Forever Bothering Individual?" one of the female characters asked.  Silly her...hadn't she heard of the SEVEN FBI investigates of the recent supreme court nominee?

Guess not.  Perhaps her universe is more logical than ours.
