For my first ever #treetuesday post I chose my first ever attempt of making a bonsai tree.  It's a little lemon tree that we cultivated from seeds last year. Recently I repotted it into this bonsai pot and used some wire to force it into the desired posture. I don't have any experience in pruning bonsais, so it's essentially learning by doing. It also has a big twin brother that has the permission to grow freely.  I have to admit, the big one looks way better and healthier right now - but in just a couple hundred years the bonsai will be waaaay cooler...
