কানা বক
বক সাধারণত দুই ধরণের দেখা যায় আমাদের বাংলাদেশে ।একটা হল সাদা আর একটা হল গায়ে একটু খয়েরি দাগ । এই খয়েরি দাগ বিশিষ্ট বক গুলকে কানা বক বলে অনেকে । এগুলো কানা বক নাম হলেও আসলে কানা নয় । বরং এর চোখ ভালো। অনেক সময় মাছ ধরার জন্য এগুলো নদী বা পুকুরের তীরে সারাদিন বসে থাকতে দেখা যায় । একারনে  এগুলো কানা বক বলে ।

এই পাখি গুলো আমাদের পরিবেশ কে সুন্দর করে রেখেছে । তাই পরিবেশ রক্ষা করার জন্য আমাদের উচিত  পাখি রক্ষা করা।    বকের মাংস অনেকে খায়। একারণে এখন এ বকের সংখ্যা অনেক কমে গেছে । এমনকি বিলুপ্তির পথে । কাজেই বিলুপ্তি রোধে জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি  করা সময়ের দাবি । বিভিন্ন সংস্থা এ ব্যাপারে এগিয়ে আসা উচিত ।
