Yes,  your eyes are not deceiving you,  we are all hypocrites.  This is not just an assertion but  I'm saying this purposefully,  as this was arrived at after an experiment of mine.

Hypocrisy to me is **'not doing exactly what you preach. It is having 'double standards'.** ***Double standard means having different platforms for judging people.*** 
For instance,  two people did the same thing the same way but you preferred one to the other because one was light-skinned and the other was dark.  Now I'm not against judging in that aspect,  we all judge but what I am really against is double standards.  I feel people should be treated the same way regardless of their skin colour, tongue,  race,  and any other thing whatsoever.  

Now let me explain my experience or experiment if you will allow that that. I stay in a house with two other people.  A lady and a guy,  they're older than I am and we are all working,  not studying.  The guy,  let me call him Jack,  doesn't like others touching any of his stuff but I've caught him taking other people's things without asking,  not once but severally. The lady is the most incredible, I'll call her Jane. Jane will tell us to always switch off the lights,  never to leave any switch on (this is because we are trying to reduce the amount of light we consume). Jane complains about all these but she leaves her air conditioner on throughout the night.  It got worse when her friend came over.  She'd call my friend to come and join us to clean the house but when her friend was around,  I asked her why she didn't ask her friend to join us and clean the house,  she said she is cleaning her room.  I just smiled and shook my head. 

Now I know it you're thinking I am drawing conclusions based on just two people.  Well,  I would advice that you look around you. ***I bet you will find that you yourself are indeed an example.***  How often do we fault others over the same things we err upon?  We tell others 'don't do this,  do that' yet we ourselves go on to do exact opposites.  A man will condemn lesbians yet he watches lesbians porn.  A lady will condemn a guy for a particular behavior yet desire that same behavior in another person.

It's really pathetic.  ***Hypocrisy is bad,  hypocrites are annoying.***  Like I said earlier,  judging is not the problem,  whether you like it or not,  you make judgements about people but your response to that judgement is what makes the difference. 
My point is: 
>Stop any and every form of condemnation. And if you must condemn then make sure you're not guilty of the same thing.

I must confess I'm also guilty of this thing called hypocrisy. I encourage people to work hard meanwhile I'm the laziest man on earth.  So please fellow steemians let's try and reduce condemnation and hypocrisy,  let's be truthful both in words and in deeds, both inward and outward,  both openly and secretly.
