# Herons FAQ
**1) As a player, how do I know if I was accepted into an account?**
If you are accepted you'll get a 0.001 steem with a memo saying you were accepted. If you were accepted, when you message me I will check your transfers to confirm you were accepted then send you the account's login details.

**2) As a card owner, what information will I have to provide in order to get an account?**
You will need to inform me how many accounts you'll need, what steem account should the earnings go to for each of them and what % split you will want with the players (i.e. 50/50).

**3) What are the requirements to be a player?**
There are no requirements, but you should promote yourself with your experience in the channel I just created, check it out. Read the pinned message before using it though. If you are completely unexperienced, I suggest you play using your account on splinterlands for free so you at least learn the basics. If you are experienced, I suggest using  the herons-search channel in our discord.. Read the pinned message.

**4) I was playing a bird or a glitter account, but they are not continuing in the system. What should I do?**
Some card delegators for those accounts haven't decided if they are going to stay with herons. They might not continue with us. You can wait for them or you can apply for a new account - or you can do both.

**5) Why are there accounts with empty collections?**
A lot of those accounts have just been created and the card delegator hasn't delegated cards to them yet. Check back soon.

**6) Are you the new owner, felipejoys? What happened to tcpolymath?**
He was going to shut down herons. I stepped up to fill in the position as owner. I am only overtaking the herons system, not ottermaker. Everything will remain unchanged except for very minor additions such as discord organization changes.
