<p> If The Color of Paradise (1999) begins with the phrase "To the glory of God", then "In the name of God" opens Beyond the Clouds. I have forgotten whether Majid Majidi's other films like Children of Heaven (1997) are the same. Also, see the titles of the film, there is the impression the director works on the basis of spiritual expression or can be called praying. It is not a prayer in the form of a request, but a praise, glorifying the good that is always in the heart of man, no matter how small it is, no matter how bad the owner of the heart. The protagonist of this film for example, which according to the general perspective, certainly less worthy of a good person.

<p>Aamir (Ishaan Khatter) his name, who daily earns a living as a drug courier. When his bastard attitude upset a local black frontman, Aamir became a police fugitive. At a corner, he asks for his brother, Tamara (Malavika Mohanan), whom he used to abandon. Taara is still a big pain, but as he provides a special room for birds, Aamir was given shelter. In contrast to Taara, helping out for free seemed so far from Amir's reach with all his egos. Until the exam, when helping the younger brother to bring disaster for Taara.

<p>The situation became more complicated when the mother and two daughters of Akshi came to visit. They are poor. Paying for the hospital expenses would cost the entire treasure while hearing Akshi's actions could instantly destroy their lives. Like Gaara's kindness to the birds as well as her, Aamir decided to help the Akshi family. Here the process of scavenging the remnants of good begins, and Majid Majidi, through a homemade story which is later poured into a script by Mehran Kashani (previously duet with Majidi through The Song of Sparrows), advised that the nature of humanity in harmony with the goodness of doing to others will be rewarded also good.

Beyond the Clouds was positive, but refused to appear naive. The conclusion is simple. Just one shot is meaningless without the passionate emotion that expressly declares its message. More than enough, because at that point, Aamir and Taara had torn down the darkness, willing to share goodness, then found peace. </p><hr>
