<html> <p><center><img src="https://image.ibb.co/i6YYuc/WS18.jpg" width="2000" height="1200"/></center></p><hr> <p>"We are cancelling the apocalypse!", Said the speech of the General Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba) which determines the feel of Pacific Rim (2013). An end of the world, when in the dark of the night, among the skyscrapers, the gigantic monster aka Kaiju launches his attacks, and there is almost no hope for mankind. In Uprising, a sequel that three years ago seemed impossible to realize due to its first regular box office performance, the atmosphere was stripped, while the majority of the action took place in broad daylight. In short, Pacific Rim: Uprising chose to move into the "Bayhem" stream, But director Steven S. DeKnight's debutant is not Michael Bay, as Jake Pentecost (John Boyega), son of Stacker Pentecost, is not his father. The son of a war hero who sacrificed his life to close our world connecting portal with Kaiju, Jake becomes a junk thief of Jaeger's remains. Also scraping the junk is a teenage girl named Amara Namani (Cailee Spaeny) who wants (and then succeeds) to build Jaeger by herself. The two met a bit of an argument in the intriguing love/hate interfaces that made me hope their barter sentences intertwined more often. </p> <p>Instead, a half-baked rivalry between Jake and Nate Lambert (Scott Eastwood), one of Jaeger's pilots actually took over the centre. Their encounter comes after Jake and Amara have to "redeem themselves" by joining the military unit after being referenced by Mako (Rinko Kikuchi), the protagonist of Jake's first film and half-sister. Amara with his mechanical talents, while Jake inherits the power of his father controlling Jaeger. Several times, Jake insists that he and his father are different. I agree. Boyega is definitely not Elba. He is cute, likeable, but lacks charisma as the mainstay of action films, we know there will be a turning point in Jake's attitude, and Mako's appearance implies what the trigger is. I look forward to the turning point, the point at which Jake, along with his film, is going to be a total foray into the battlefield. Because the decision to remove the atmosphere of "impending doom" plus the lack of attractiveness in the groove minimizes the tension when the screen is not being filled Jaeger fight against Kaiju. Especially during the first half of the distance, the battle is too far apart. But my new turning point was really visible as the military base was raided by a surprise attack. Tempo is accelerated and life stakes increase, which leads to the totality of climax. </p> <p>Once again, Steven S. DeKnight is not a skilful Michael Bay strapping a bombastic blast that captivates the eye in a barrage of battles of giants that are almost entirely packed like the summit of everything. The good thing is, DeKnight composes the choreography of the battle rather than just banging the iron without form or orientation of the movement surely. There is awareness of space, time, and being. DeKnight's robots can roll over, kick, fight agile, show off a wide range of weapons, and the audience will have no trouble observing what's going on and involving anyone. </p> <p>I'm sure I will often hear the question "Which is better than the first movie?". Let me explain. If you love the Pacific Rim for reasons like mine, the "final day" atmosphere that accompanies the battle is exciting, it is likely that the Uprising is less than satisfactory. But if you like it for different reasons or just the opposite, it is not a fan because the battle in the first movie lacks the "fun" element may be a sequel to the fun.
