Hello! Today I'm inviting you to visit a blog I've been contributing to, **[Geekcologist](https://www.google.com)**. In particular to read our last posts on a software package we have developed. For the landscape ecologists out there this might be a very useful tool. It's the R package,**[lconnect](https://github.com/FMestre1/lconnect)**, for now available only as a development version in **GitHub**. This package is intended to be a very simple approach to derive **landscape connectivity metrics** and **prioritize habitat patches** based upon their contribution to overall connectivity. Many of these metrics come from the interpretation of landscape as graphs.
