My journey to Singapore to gather charity for War Victims...

<h1><strong>First time out of the country</strong></h1>

I've done a lot of travelling due to the nature of my work but not out of the country! What made this decision? There's a war going on at that time and we have an upcoming poetry event plus itd be a chance to meet my friend who is an OFW.</p>

<h1><strong>Meet</strong> Justin!</h1>
<p><br>
He's an OFW who sponsored my flight! He wanted to help the organization and also to have a chance for us to catch up. He's currently working as a porter nurse in singapore. I stayed in his apartment for the whole week stay and he sponsored everything even my expenses! Why? We've been friends since highschool the best of friends we were both the top 2 in our class and we always like to challenge each other! <em>"Giving up is never a choice" </em>is one of our motto. We even thought that we invented critical thinking ourselves coz we name the method the same without knowing it really exist!&nbsp;</p>

<h1><strong>Immigrations</strong></h1>
<p><strong><br>
</strong>Knowing that I will be sponsored by justin I didnt bring any money to spend on lavish trip cos Id rather give that to the charity. <em>You can probably guess what happened. </em>Immigration wont let me go out of the country even with all the proofs ad documents they wont let me go outside of the country with virtually no money and it's my first time. <em>I understand them who in their right mind would believe my story? </em>For 2 hours we were arguing, this time with the whole Immigration present that night cos theyre all having fun dealing with me...<br>

They finally agreed to let me go provided Ill sign a waver that they wont be liable for whatever the singapore immigration would do to me. <em>Ofcourse I agreed.</em></p>
<p><em><br>
</em>Singapore Immigration is much more tense! No one told me people are deported for multiple reasons there and unfortunately one of the reason is the amount of money your bringing!! <em>Thats it Im never gonna make it to singapore.</em> But I had to try right? So that night I chose the guy who is sleepy and not talking a lot with the people and when I got there he looked at me and said <em>"Purpose of visit?" ~vacation "How much money you have?" ~3,000 "SGD?" ~yes "Okay".</em></p>

</em>The truth is I only have 3,000 pesos which is around 100SGD! Hahahahaa!!</p>

<strong>Singapore is very beautiful!&nbsp;</strong></h1>
<p>I had to visit UNIVERSAL STUDIOS! This place is awesome but you need money... A LOT of money! Theres a lot of things there that are for free especially the shows and famous landmarks. Its really an amazing experience!</p>
<h1><br>
Going to the real purpose</h1>
<p>At the minimum Im looking for a place to perform poetry for the filipino community in Singapore. Rather than asking them upfront Id bring the whole poetry group to Singapore and entertain them. Here are the options I got.</p>

First one is the open theatre that is free of charge you just have to email them about the event details and the second photo is inside the Esplanade theatre. Both I emailed and hoping that my request get approved.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At the moment Im still organizing events for my group to gather charity this have been the tradition of my group. To me its hitting two birds with one stone, Entertain and Help both charity and the artists. Im happy I found Steemit as this will be part of my strategy in the future.</p>
