<p>Even now they only incarcerate less than .5%, and look at all the people that don't rise up because they are afraid of getting locked up, this is clearly an irrational fear.</p>

<p><code>First Water Protector Trials Set for January as Another ND Pipeline Leaks</code></p>

<p><code>Morton County, ND – On Monday, December 19th, water protectors charged with disorderly conduct stemming from their August 11th arrests made their first appearances in Morton County court. The results of the appearances was Judge Cynthia Feland granting a continuance till January 31st, 2017.</code></p>
<p><code>The judge heard Morton County State’s Attorney Ladd Erickson’s motion to “keep issues of tribal sovereignty, the concerns about the Dakota Access Pipeline and “any other social or political cause” out of the courtroom and did not approve it.</code></p>
<p><code>Judge Feland stated in her denial that defendants didn’t have enough time to respond to the motion.</code></p>
<p>And these are mostly the peaceful protestors, the one's exercising their right to peacefully assemble and petition for redress of their concerns.</p>
<p>Had those folks not put their lives on the line in North Dakota the pipeline could be poisoning the water now!!</p>
<p><code>Last Monday, December 12th, those warnings came to life as a pipeline leaked 170,000 gallons of oil which contaminated 5.4 miles of the Ash Coulee Creek in North Dakota. That pipeline was equipped with monitoring equipment which did not detect the leak. The leak was only found because a landowner happened upon the leak and reported it.</code></p>
<p><code>Water protectors continue to pray and hold space as construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline construction is halted, at least temporarily.</code></p>

<p>From your acceptance that it is ok to bully some people, as long as the bullies leave you alone, stems most of the injustice in the world.</p>
<p>Until we convince people that rule by force is the worst way to run a world we are doomed to watch as those that would give their lives for our freedom, do so.</p>
