Today I’m grateful for our family and friends, two and four-legged. :D I’m grateful for the gorgeously mild 4 C temperature we had here, it was nice to see the sunshine, (even though it was through clouds for most of the day,) there was still warmth coming from it and we had lots of the fresh snow we got overnight melting through the day. :D I’m grateful that my handsome husband and I remembered that it was garbage day and I got the can to the curb without wiping out on the ice hidden under the fresh snow that fell through the night and stopped just before we headed out to do the chores this morning. :D I let our grand-puppy Shadow walk from to the curb with me to drop off the garbage can and again after the garbage truck had come and gone down our road back to town again. :D I’m grateful he had a blast and probably went up and down our driveway a dozen times to my two trips, it helped use up a bunch of his energy and he had to nap when we got back inside. :D I’m grateful for the simple sausages and long grain rice my handsome husband and I enjoyed for our supper tonight, neither of us was super hungry and both wanted something simple and tasty, with a couple of homemade chocolate chip cookies for our dessert. :D I’m grateful for these and for all our other blessings. :D Most of all, I’m grateful to God for blessing us with another day to share. :D
