Good Morning, Steemians! :D
We started our day off with grey sky and a temperature of 12 C. :D
Thankfully Microsoft had a nice view waiting for me when I turned my monitor on this morning, much nicer than the dreary grey sky Mother Nature had waiting and much better than snow. :D. :D
It was a busy but good day for us here on the homestead. :D My handsome husband and I did our regular chores, refilled the oats bin in the barn, went and refilled our three oats barrels at our farmer friend down the road, went across the river to get another round bale of hay from another farmer friend, ran errands in town, took some of the dogs for a nice walk, and took our son out to dinner and a movie for his birthday. :D It was just going to be our pretty puppy mom Karma and her handsome son Shadow on the walk this morning, but our other handsome grand-puppy Tiny worked his way over the fence and came along as well. :D

As you can see in this picture I took as we were heading back toward the house, our pretty puppy mom Karma was soaked from about mid-chest down, but she was so happy to be playing in the water that I couldn’t get upset about it at all, especially when I saw the absolute joy on her face each time she came out of a puddle, LOL. :D
We were halfway back to the house when I looked over to see the boy’s way over by the barn, they hadn’t finished their oats yet and were still working on them as we continued to head back. :D
Our handsome grand-puppy kept coming back to check on his grandma (me) and make sure I was still walking with them all, between his trips in and out of the water puddles along the path of course, boy puppies need fun too. :D
By the time the dogs and I made it back up to the main pasture my handsome husband had secured (clockwise from left to right) Leroy, Buddy, Joker, and Princess inside and they were almost done their breakfast hay. :D

Our neighbor near the bottom of the hill had a couple new mom’s and batches of piglets when we went by his place to get our oats barrels refilled at our farmer friends at the bottom of the hill this afternoon, they were so cute, but weren’t venturing far from their mom’s yet. :D
As we headed across the river to get a round bale from another farmer friend we came across these geese just hanging around out in the rain at the end of one of our neighbor’s driveways, it was neat to see that many all gathered together on the ground like that, usually I’ve only seen them in groups when they’re flying. :D
We came across some closed roads due to flooding during our travels this afternoon and had to take a detour or two to get around, thankfully my handsome husband was driving so I knew we weren’t going to get lost on the way. :D

We had a nice supper at our local Pizza Hut and got to enjoy the “Hellboy” movie at our Atlantic Cinema’s theater in town with our son. :D It was good, but the original was better, in my opinion. :D We’ve made it safely home now and its time to get my posts done for today. :D
