A grey start to our day. :D

This is when he noticed a bird landing on one of the fence posts and is about to start barking his head off to alert the others that there’s an intruder. :D

Our little herd started their day off spread all over the main pasture, Leroy enjoyed his breakfast on the far left. :D

Princess ate her breakfast almost dead center of the pasture. :D

The clouds are starting to clear and there looks to be some blue sky behind them, that’s nice to see. :D

We had several birds visit our homestead, crows, hummingbirds, canaries, and robins. :D

I brought the chickens favourite treat out for them this morning, potato peelings, and they were quick to snatch them up. :D

I also brought a couple treats for our piglets, Mittens was the brave one this morning, she came to check out my offerings first. :D

It didn’t take Molly long to come for her treat once she realized Mittens had one. :D

Once their treats were gone, they came over to see if I had anything else to give them. :D

The girls have cleared a couple feet of their pen in just under a day, that’s very impressive, at least to me. :D I figure they’ll have it all rooted and turned over by the end of the week, maybe a bit more. :D They are the best rototillers around and the cutest too to boot. :D

A couple of our frogs hanging out in the shallows of our pond. :D

I almost had three frogs in my first picture, but this one move out of frame as I took the shot, it hopped  over the other two and ended up off to the right of the other ones, so I had to take two pictures, it was an impressive hop. :D

I wish I was quick and agile enough to catch one of our frogs, like this little one, so I could get a nice close-up of the whole frog, instead of just their heads or backs, but alas they are much faster than I. :D

Some of our frogs, like this one, are so good at hiding in the tall grass around the edge of the pond that I’d never find them if they didn’t croak so loudly. :D

My handsome husband stopped in for some lunch and brought a truck bed full of pea vines for our herd to enjoy. :D They were very happy to have them, that’s one of their favourite treats in the summer. :D
