Many people have trouble expressing their feelings in English owing to a lack of practice and vocabulary. They can produce it in their minds yet run out of words while speaking.

This is a period that I believe every beginner has gone through. Speaking English can be quite challenging for non-native speakers. 

Even if they are studying academic English, most people struggle when it comes to speaking because English is not spoken in their daily lives.


**So, today I am going to discuss about seven easy ways to improve the speaking skill.**

## 1. Set a goal for the language journey:
---

Without a clear aim and meticulous planning, success is impossible to achieve. 

The first step to success is to determine the language objectives and work toward them. It will get better and better day by day.

When you plan, you've already completed half of the work. So all you have to do now is to follow the plan.

## 2. Don’t think about the mistakes and keep speaking: 
---
The simplest method to improve your speaking skills is to speak frequently.

When people are  new to something, they are afraid of making mistakes and how others would assess them.

But believe me, if you make a mistake, no one will judge you; instead, they will assist you. 

So, don't give up on speaking because you are making mistakes.



## 3. Compile a list of favourite words:

Everyone has a set of preferred vocabularies for writing and speaking.

Make a list of  favourite words and try to incorporate them into your speaking practice.

##  4. Mirror practice: 
---
This, in my opinion, is the finest way to learn to talk when there is no one else around.

For example, if you have an English test coming up in a few days and you don't have anyone to converse with, you can speak in front of the mirror in that instance.

This technique is really helpful as it eliminates the fear of speaking in front of people.



## 5. Listening: 
---
Listening is the best way to improve your speaking skills. Continue to concentrate on your favourite movies, TV shows, news, or music.

With practice, you will be able to correctly employ those words. Because listening and speaking are two sides of the same coin.

## 6. Recording voice: 
---
This is another excellent approach to improve speaking abilities. All you need is a recorder.

Then keep speaking about whatever you're interested in and record it. Then play it back to see how well you performed.

## 7. Learning phrases: 
---
Learning in chunks is more effective than learning individual words.

This will make speaking much easier. Aside from that, learning in phrases will enable you to apply those items with greater ease and spontaneity.

**If these seven approaches are used while speaking, it will result in a significant improvement in one's ability to speak in English.**

**And one will become fluent and capable of achieving their objective of becoming a competent speaker.**
