Jupiler Pro League betting: round 4 results!

Well it just wasn't my weekend.

All 4 bets lost.
Two of the four bets were already lost on Friday evening after the first game. While I did know that Club Brugge would rest some players they just didn't find the key the unlock the defense of Eupen. Okay a penalty should have been given to Club Brugge which would have opened the game but it wasn't. The result a scoreless draw. Which was good for the BTTS but not for the Over 2.5 and the correct score bet!

The next game killed another bet. I really did see Anderlecht improving week after week and really had the impression that they could win the game against Kortrijk. And they did come ahead but Kortrijk did got a penalty early in the second half. I do think that the penalty could have been refused but it is what it is. After the penalty, Anderlecht broke down mentally like we have seen before this season. Kortrijk got 2-1 ahead and even the euqalizer of Anderlecht didn't give them enough motivation to keep on playing. As a result they did loose 4-2 and have the worst start ever with only 2 points out of 4 games.

The only game that could have saved the weekend was Gent vs Oostende, where I did need both teams to score. The idea behind this bet was that Gent is in between 2 Europa League qualifications games and would rest some players combined with the fact that Oostende does find the goal easy! But Gent did come too late 2-0 ahead and Oostende didn't find the net :(

So a complete wash-out this weekend. But at least Genk did win their second game of the season!

I do just consider this is a battle lost, but for the moment I am still winning the war. Like written earlier I am thinking about replacing the correct score double into a player to score double. 4 more days to make this decision!
