Sirin Labs To Release Blockchain Powered Smartphone. (iPhone X? Pfft!)

# Bye-Bye iPhone, Hello Finney!
##### [Sirin Labs](https://www.sirinlabs.com/) is working on a blockchain powered smartphone. The phone is being produced by the company you may know as the creator of [Solarin](https://solarin.com), a high-end Android phone that retails for between $13,800 and $17,400 usd.
##### But don't let that put you off! Because according to the [Sirin Labs](https://www.sirinlabs.com/) website, their new blockchain powered product will retail for $999. Here's what the phone looks like:

# Some Key Features:
* ##### Built-in "cold storage" crypto wallet
* ##### Physical security switch (for wallet protection)
* ##### Three-Factor authentication: Biometric, Lock Pattern, Behavioral
##### Those are just three of the many crypto-centric features available, it also has some impressive tech-specs too (even a selfie camera!).
##### There are also plans to create a PC and also an OEM Operating System. I don't know about you, but this thing looks very pleasing on the eye to me:

##### I might even be tempted to call it "sexy".
# The Team
##### I haven't delved into the White Paper just yet, but looking at the size of the team, and some of the very high profile advisers listed on the site, makes me feel very positive about where this project could go. They are also working with other blockchain based businesses you might be familiar with, such as; IOTA, Bancor, and Status, so there is a lot of backing behind the project.
# ICO
##### These projects are all being funded by an ICO of the Sirin token (SRN) which the website says:
> ##### The SRN Token represents the right to acquire Sirin products and services
##### So, in order to purchase the Finney, you will need to get in on the ICO, or hope that you can pick some SRN up on an exchange. 
# Conclusion
##### I'm not sure I've even seen a tech project funded quite like this, but I'm very tempted to invest in the ICO when it comes around. (I've even signed up for updates).
##### I need a new phone, but nothing else coming out at the moment is really motivating me enough to buy one. When I upgrade my phone I like to think I'm upgrading it to something that could be a game changer.
