League of Legends: Patch Star Guardian

<p>League of Legends keep improving and has been providing new things for the Summoners. From graphic improvements, especially the most notable complete graphic transformation on season 3 (It was season 3 right?) that makes the graphics to be a lot better, to so many new gameplay modes, to continual addition of new champions and skins.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It's been a long time since the last time I played LoL, and the most recent update I saw looks interesting as it always been.&nbsp;Aside of the bugfixes and Champions' usual abilities updates, Riot said this next Patch is not "small" and that they have something new.&nbsp;</p><hr>

<p>Starting from the animated trailer that highlight Ahri's Sailor Moon-ish transformation into the Star Guardian with anime theme as the new Star Guardian skins. At the end of the video you can see she 4 other Star Guardians which are the Champions that will have the Star Guardian skins. These new Star Guardians are Syndra, Miss Fortune, Soraka, Ezreal, and Ahri.&nbsp;</p>

Seriously, you can find them there. I don't know if that's necessary but.. Yeah, why not?</p><hr>

<p>So we know they are a part of a cosmic protector team that will battle the cosmic enemies of the void to protect the universe from them with Ahri as the leader of the Star Guardians. If you play League of Legends much you'll know that there are veteran Star Guardians, and yes, Ahri is now their leader.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you want to know more about the story, check out Riot's 33 min read short story; <a href="http://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/story/star-guardian-starfall/">Starfall</a>. It's a nice 9 chapter of short story about the life of the Star Guardians, telling about how Lux trying to unite the original and the new Star Guardians together with awesome artworks that I wish there's more of them instead of the wall of text, like Riot's other short stories.&nbsp;</p><hr><center>

<p>Following the parallel lore of these Star Guardians, a new gameplay mode is available called Invasion, where you will band together in a five player PvE mode to defend the Starlight from the Guardians' cosmic enemies. So this mode is an event in the Star Guardians' universe.&nbsp;</p>
<p>While you need to purchase the Star Guardian skins for you Champions to put it on and play in Summoner's Rift (or other mode but Invasion), in Invasion mode the skins are free to play as well as temporary Star Guardians skin emotes. Completing missions in the custom map can earn you Starlight Tokens that you can use to get event exclusive New Horizon Ward and random Hextech Mastery Champion.&nbsp;</p>
