This week the challenge is about my favorite food. Thanks to @Steemitblog that everyday makes a challenge for the week. Weekly Writing Challenge # 3.

# My favorite food:
I love fish and seafood. In any form of preparation. For its flavor, because it's easy to add different companions to enrich its consumption.

Me encantan los pescados y mariscos. En cualquier forma de preparación. Por su sabor, por lo accesible a diferentes acompañantes que enriquecen su consumo.

I cannot find a way to express my delight when eating prepared seafood, whether in sauces, on grills, with the simple, citric taste of lemon.

No encuentro la manera de expresar mi placer al comer los mariscos preparados, ya sea en salsas, en parrillas, con el simple sabor del cítrico limón.

Fried fish, the popular fried *corocoro*, its pleasant taste, delicious on the palate. A simple fish that you can even get with a fishing rod on a boardwalk. From our Caribbean coasts to the frying pan. Whether it is only with an "arepa", with french fries, with casabe, it's a delicacy for the Venezuelan. Or the delicious *parguito*, fish requested for its succulent meat. A delirium on the palate.

I remember that a few years ago I went fishing with my family. My nephews carried their rods and on the way we bought the bait, which was some shrimp and/or sardines. Upon arrival we cut the sardines into small pieces or chopped the shrimp. Each one on the boardwalk was placed in his favorite place and we threw the hook, as far from the shore of the boardwalk. To wait for the fish to bite the bait. I mean that fishing for me is a good relaxation exercise. Then getting the fish is another joy. Telling how to fish is not the same as live fishing. You have to do it to live that unforgettable experience.

El pescado frito, el popular corocoro frito, su sabor agradable, delicioso al paladar. Un pescado sencillo, que hasta con caña de pescar lo consigues en un malecón. De nuestras costas caribeñas a la sarten. Ya sea solo con arepa, con papas fritas, con casabe, es un manjar para el venezolano. O el delicioso parguito, pescado solicitado por su suculenta carne. Un delirio al paladar.

Recuerdo que hace algunos años atrás iba con mi familia a pescar. Mis sobrinos llevaban sus cañas y en el camino comprábamos la carnada, que consistía en camarones o sardinas. Al llegar cortábamos las sardinas en pequeños trozos o picábamos los camarones. Cada quien en el malecón se colocaba en su sitio preferido y arrojábamos el anzuelo en la caña, lo más alejado de la orilla del malecón. A esperar que los peces cayeran en el anzuelo. Quiero decir que la pesca para mi es un buen ejercicio de relajación. Luego al obtener los pescados es otra alegría. Contar como hacer una pesca no es igual a vivir la pesca. Hay que hacerlo y vivir esa experiencia inolvidable.

Eat the battered shrimp, with a companion that maximizes its provocation in sight. A shrimp with garlic. Fry the garlic with a little butter, with the juice of a lemon it directly stimulates smell and sight. Very few people are not attracted to these Caribbean dishes.

Comer el langostino rebozado, con un acompañante que maximiza su provocación a la vista. Un langostino al ajíllo. Sofreír con un poco de mantequilla el ajo, con el sumo de un limón y directo a estimular el olfato y la vista. Muy pocas personas no se sienten atraídas hacia estos platos del caribe.

And there are still many delicacies with fish and seafood, I just don't have many images of those tasty dishes. But for whoever tries it it's very difficult to forget. What it is to eat a fish or seafood, fresh from the sea and seasoned with simple spices and prepared as simply as it is at home. Accompanied with family and friends. It's a pleasure in life.

Y aun faltan muchas delicateces con los pescados y mariscos, solo que no conservo muchas imágenes de estos sabrosos platos. Pero al que lo prueba es muy difícil que lo puedan olvidar. Lo que es comer un pescado o marisco, recién salido del mar y condimentado con sencillas especies y preparado en forma tan sencilla como lo es en el hogar. Acompañado de familia y amigos. Es un placer en la vida.
