Without a doubt this year has been an immensely successful for Bitcoin considering its price being somewhat higher than 900$ at the start of this year, and surging to about USD 16,500+ just this week. Bitcoin market has been as aggressive as ever with no intention of ceasing itβs rise against the odds. ![asdasdasdwetrwet.png](https://res.cloudinary.com/hpiynhbhq/image/upload/v1512679301/wd12zj7sm9eoq1rbbuop.png) Surpassing the expectations of the its developers, Bitcoin is thought to be utilized as a payment option whether you need to pay someone or make an investment. Bitcoin's cost relies upon the will of the general population who are willing to pay for it. It appears that huge number of people are utilizing this cryptographic money so much so that just in few months there have been up to 20+ million people who signed up for it. For as long as people rapidly join the bitcoin frenzy, it will probably move the cryptocurrency into mainstream and be used around the world which would mean a sensational increase in its value. However, overall population who may be suspicious about the wellbeing of their national currencies being maintained by their national banks, got strikingly intrigued to bitcoin in light of its temperament to be less impacted by any state's economy (or not impacted at all). As per my understanding here are a few reason why it's doing so good; * Bitcoin being a true decentralized Network * The first ever Cryptocurrency with more trust level and awareness * No Banks/Governments/Institution involved in control/wellbeing/growth * Non-Inflationary coin * Extremely secure Network/unhackable, with better consensus model * No micro management for each and every transaction unlike Banks * Growing acceptance With a "medium of payment" like Bitcoin which requires no regulation, control and is quite protected from inflation and crisis on the stock market with no attachment to the general economy of a country whatsoever, it is clear that rumors would pop up from time to time, some calling it a fraud/scam, others comparing it to Tulip mania and bubble waiting to burst, but one thing is for sure and that is, Bitcoin is here to thrive for the foreseeable future. One can understand their concerns, they think their lunch is at stake with Bitcoin rising up abnormally. Who would want to invest in Banks when you can get x100 folds profit eh? Not me at least, I hate them anyway :) Bitcoin is often compared to Gold, given the fact that both are limited in supply. But I would say; > Bitcoin isn't Gold, it's the Diamond. And I am saying this because I don't see any unit of Gold sold for 16k+. There's no argument that the world was moving to "cashless transactions" with the plastic cards and other varieties but Bitcoin and other Cryptos has fueled this race towards a perfect "cashless society". It just fits into the scenario very well. And I am all up for this. Being a Muslim, I would rather pay transaction fee's than "interest" (Muslims are prohibited to pay/receive interest) and I believe almost all of you out there irrespective of your "reasons" are fed up of interests and dealing with banks. **Note: Short term reasons for it's gain has been ignores such as the ann of CME group and other market shifts. I believe short term reasons is a direct impact of the long-term 'wellbeing'.**

I think that this excessive rise of Bitcoin could be something like a micro bubble, since in just 30 days has increased by $ 10,000 its value, which is a lot of money for this market. All the points you mentioned about Bitcoin existed in fact before this last rise, so they do not explain this big increase. I think maybe I can go down like the first time I get to the $ 1,000 so you have to take advantage of the fact that the price is quite high.

Bitcoin has always been crazy like that. You didn't saw a 10,000 rise before because it wasn't endorsed by the giants like CME and others. Now that it has endorsed it increased the confidence of those who were waiting on the bay. It kinda of legitimized. It has to increase 10 folds and it's not that it wasn't expected.

Steam dropped bitcoin as payment method. Reason for sudden boom is because of an investment group called Old Mutual has invested millions into altcoins. And other investment groups usually follow Old Mutual wherever they go.

Those are short terms gimmicks I avoided that in this post and stated in notes. As there's no guarantee for those investment to stay right there. It's just about time.
