Leí esta noticia hace 3 días:
Supuestamente una compañía vietnamita habría realizado la estafa más grande realizada hasta ahora en el ámbito de las Criptos.
La empresa Modern Tech, la cual se especializa en representación para Ofertas Iniciales de Moneda (ICO) con sede en la ciudad vietnamita Ho Chi Mihn, es acusada de realizar una de las estafas más grandes de la historia de las criptomonedas. Según los informes, los ejecutivos de dicha empresa cerraron sus oficinas sin previo aviso, después de recaudar el equivalente a más de Seiscientos (600) millones de dólares, en lo que se conoce como estafa de arranque inicial (exit scam).

Tras el caso se encuentran agentes del Banco Estatal de Vietnam, las personas estafadas serían más 32MIL personas. Modern Tech supuestamente ofrecía a sus clientes el 48% de rentabilidad, que mensualmente les pagaría en moneda fíat en un plazo máximo de 4 meses, siempre y cuando los clientes cumplieran  la condición de una inversión mínima de MIL dólares. Además, el esquema Ponzi les daría un 8% de ganancia extra por referidos.
Desde hace 4 meses, los clientes dejaron de recibir sus pagos en moneda corriente, para hacerlo en tokens de "Ifan" en su lugar. Aunque la compañía les entregaba el Token a un valor de 5 dólares, la realidad es que dicho token solo valía algunos centavos. En enero los "ejecutivos" de la compañía acusada del Scam, eliminaron sus cuentas de redes sociales y fue desde ese momento que muchos "clientes" empezaron a sospechar.
De comprobarse esta estafa, se convertiría en la mayor de la historia relacionada con las criptomonedas. Hasta ahora no tenemos noticias de un robo de esa magnitud, al menos tomando en cuenta que las denuncias aseguran que fueron alrededor de 660 Millones de Dólares en dinero Fiat.
