One of the aspects that make me like a movie the most is the way it develops and manages to humanize its characters making them look like real ones, transmitting an identity with which we can conceive ourselves and Girl is undoubtedly a movie that achieves that in a fantastic way.

Girl is a film that talks about sex change and the emotional growth of today's youth, a film that not only focuses on social criticism of transgender people but makes us live the experience of one, so that we can understand more clearly how it feels to be trapped in a body that does not represent you. The film goes beyond just the problems of a young boy, but also gives us a look at family dramas that accompany a young man in transition.

# Going deeper into story.
#
This is a movie that follows a story within another story, on the one hand we have a boy who is in the process of becoming a woman and who is already on track to get it, a story that only serves as fuel to the true and central story of the film, because this movie is not only about a boy wanting to become a woman, but a woman wanting to be the best valet dancer that exists.

Basically we have the story of a young transgender who works to the most inclement limits to achieve his dream of dancing valet, a young man who gives his all and will have to deal with the changes that his body in transition represents. The fascinating thing is to see the precision with which the director manages to create a story of overcoming masked in a veil of social criticism subtly transmitted. Throughout the film we can see the path so complicated that this young woman must travel, struggling with a new body and other factors that affect her emotionally, however we also see the family bond of a father determined to support his daughter in everything, a father without prejudice and who only wants the best for his daughter.

The plot is perfectly constructed for us to follow melodiously by the great motivation that transmits in each scene, nothing is done at random, all the film is armed to show in detail the journey of a young woman who fights against herself to succeed.

# The Transgender Boy.
#
The whole film is perfectly developed, but Victor Polster's performance is hypnotizing, it is incredible to see the whole process of transformation of a young man who not only wants to be happy, but also wants to be successful. This young actor gives us an emotional, charming and intense performance, transmitting all the fears and joys of a young transgender and their daily struggle. Besides the fact that his physical transformation is impressive, if we do not see in detail that he is a young man, we really believe that it is a girl who stars in the film, for the fantastic way that dominates his gestures and body movements to the point that really merges into a woman.

There are scenes where this young actor makes us tingle with his performance, we never see any doubt or shame, the work and commitment that the actor developed to create a magical character that captivates us and makes us commit to his fight is very noticeable.

# Final thoughts.

This is one of the movies that most quickly touched me and caught me, a film that does not seek pity for his character, as it is not a character seeking approval but rather happiness and success. A film that stands out enormously for how its plot develops within a world of prejudices that does not take into account but that sets as a reality.


With hypnotic performances that will make us feel a constant empathy for the characters without feeling sorry for them, we want them to do well not because they have suffered, but because they have struggled to achieve success. With a **WONDERFUL** photography that is beautifully complemented with the shots and designs to create unique and captivating environments. It is not perfect because it does not want to be, but it is an ode to good performances and good argumentative development.
